mud mud, glorious mud.

when you're a little boy,
I don't think there is anything more manly
than digging in the mud.

Nboy has "created" a mud hole in our backyard,
and mr.m. has declared it will be quite some time
before grass is grown there again,
{if it's ever brave enough to grow back- that is}.




but oh.my.goodness.
it has already made it's mark on this boy-
on my floor-
under his fingernails-
in my washing machine-
it's official: summer is here.
and the "wild outdoors" {um...our backyard mudhole},
is beconing NBoy.



look how content he is.
the sweetness sweaty-ness of a little boy,
who loves playing hard with nature.



and of course,
miss GGirl is not far behind.
there is no way she's going to miss out on
the mud adventures of summer 2011.

even if she's wearing a dress.
