for almost a week-
with three kids under age five.
it was a bit crazy.
it was hot.
it was humid.
but it was worth it-
to celebrate these two:

the plane ride's were survivable.
our "manny" uncle m. traveled along-
and was super helpful.
there were more than a few times,
we were tempted to pretend that they were uncle m.'s kids.
that way our fellow passengers could frown in his direction,
when our preschoolers got a little unruly.

through customs we dragged-
four large suitcases,
three backpacks,
two purses & one baby bag of toys.
all that gear, and three little ones,
made it an experience I don't need to remember.
-thank goodness the officials had mercy on us-
and didn't pull us aside to go through our bags.
I guess our crying, fighting, whining little ones-
were a significant force to consider......
{and the mama giving them the eye-
that said: "don't you even think about unpacking
my superbly overflowing suitcases to "look" for dangerous items!
because that, sir, would be extremely dangerous to you-
as this mama is going to have one tremendous meltdown of her own,
when she has to repack them...again!"}

but we did love the pool.
and we did love seeing our family.
we did love celebrating our beautiful new auntie, and our handsome uncle j.

we loved having our first mani/pedi
{compliments of our resort}.
we loved painting our toes purple,
and our nails pink with glitter.

we loved drinking ice cream with a straw
{because it was so hot...it melted immediately},
eating chicken nuggets at every meal,
and ordering dessert at the end {or beginning} of each meal.
just because we could
{a delicious perk of the all-inclusive}.
and I loved eating seafood at every meal.

we loved the kids zone.
we loved painting,
we loved playing on the floor,
we loved the air conditioning!

we loved the beautiful pavilion on the beach,
where auntie b. & uncle j. spoke their handwritten vows.
we loved the ocean breeze lingering around.

we loved having our cousins close-by,
and meeting new extended family!

we loved so many things.
and so we'd love to share again- soon!
more to come...........

Sounds like you had a blast! That picture of Mr. M with a grinning Rbaby and her 4 little toofers...so cute!
