N is in enthralled with the movie Wall-E right now. He is constantly begging to watch parts of it, and loves acting as some the characters. Mr. M. is also really enjoying N's appreciation of computers and robots….and yes; he even been occasionally spotted getting down on the floor with N to act out a few of the characters.
N's favorite lately has been the movie character "Mo." Mo's robot job is to clean up the dirt around the space ship. As he does he says “foreign contaminant”…and scrubs it away.
(Here's a clip of Mo & Wall-E if you're dying to see it for yourself)
Anyway, N love's acting this out, running all over our house with his substitute robot roller (a plastic toy) pretending to wipe away dirt.
Today, I heard N walking down our hallway, "roller-ing" different things, and dubbing them "foreign contaminant." His ever present, little sister, G was toddling closely behind, and- as always- she was getting a little in the way of his roller-ing. Much to my amusement- and G's surprise- N promptly turned around and “roller-ed” G, loudly dubbed her as “foreign contaminant,” and moved directly on to roller-ing other items.
I love toddlers. They are such imaginative and funny little people.
