I found this amazing blog about Amazima Ministry through a friend.

It's the journey of a twenty-something, single, American, woman named Katie. She has been living in Uganda for the past few years and has essentially created a ministry: running an orphanage, a hot meal ministry and even treating medical needs to the poorest of the poor. She founded much of this ministry alone, and is the single mother of 14....yes....14 adopted orphaned girls (a variety of ages).

Reading her entry's has left me inspired by her strength, encouraged by the power of prayer and reminded that the family of Christ is international!
