it would be untrue of me,
to say this past week was usual.
for it was a week which laid heavy upon our hearts-
for reasons outside ourselves.
it was a week of grief,
as i witnessed from afar- the groan of the Body for mercy.
it was a week- in which we prayed furiously for those who mourn,
that they would be comforted.
it was a week to look to heaven.
and it was this week, in which we also celebrated our seder meal.
a meal which begins in a great sadness, and has a glorious ending,
{since we claim Christ as our Messiah}.
we cleared out our furniture,
and we prepared our hearts to remember-
the greatest story ever told.
we shared our seder, with a dearest friend of younger days.....
and sweet daily friends of now.
and we cherished how our tradition of celebrating a messianic seder,
helps our Easter become set apart from our other celebrations.
ps. here's another family who partakes in a seder meal- in more vivid instruction
ps again. here's the seder meal guide we have used.

Eloquently put, Hannah. You put my same thoughts into words.
