easter eggs & our canadian friend

we had a marvelous time with our friend, ms. c.,
from alberta, canada.




she and i are old friends.
very old friends.
she knew me before mr.m.,
before wifehood,
before mommyhoood,
back when we were teenagers.


we lived in europe together,
and went to bible school.

it was an amazing experience,
and, now it seems like it was centuries ago.




the last time we saw each other-
mr.m. and i were getting married.
now, seven years later, she's comes for another visit...
and we've mutiplied- three darling times.

she stayed for a brave whole week- with our little brood.
{that's one gracious friend!}

dear ms c., please come stay with us at any time! thanks for hanging out with our mom, while we did all the daily's.
we loved learning a bit of french, and it was interesting to learn you sometimes need to plug your car in when it's
freezing outside. love, m children.

and also this week- of note-
rbaby decided she adores eating cereal, in a bowl, with milk and a spoon.
this was a great improvement considering-

the cereal waterfalls off her tray during last season,
or the season of finger crushing cereal compulsion.

i would beg her.
please rbaby. please just eat the cereal- try them try them you will see.

you'll like the cereal, my sweet baby-eeeE.

and as usual.
she did. and she loved.
and i was right. {momma wins again.}
