mama's day

a couple weeks ago,
i went to nboys preschool for mom's day.

and just like last year-
it was a great chance to observe my son in the classroom,
in an art project,
in movement class,
in activity's with his peers,
and in circle time.

true to his personality-
he was animated and outgoing with the group-
and even borderline spastic with energy...

{he gets that from my side of the family}.

he confidently pointed out calendar dates,
and even gave a brief & correct opinion on how the sun's rotation affects
night and day around the globe.

and, that left even his mama wondering where he had learned all his sun/rotation information-
because i sure didn't teach it to him!

{yes- anything to do with science & math is absolutely from mr.m's genetics!}

he was a total ham during "dance" in movement,

{and that's a bit of mr.m.}
{mr.m. happens to be a fabulous dance partner.}

{sorry for exposing your coordinated dance moves secret on my blog, mr.m...but it's true, ya know it!}

and ignore the girls.

the boys proudly grouped together for stamp rewards,

and we were off to build styra foam toothpick creations
in his classroom.

{now that's from my genetics- toothpicks + foam = art even this mama can make & be proud of!}

love, love, love him & what a joy he is to our family.

i cannot believe this is our last preschool mom's day.
{stop growing up so fast, dearest nboy!!!}
