beginning the passy {at 16 months} for real?!

we adore this toddler baby girl- rbaby.


and, we've allowed forced her to take a passy...for the first time
because to be completely honest- it's basically saved her life.


from lego tires,
and little bitty princess plastic doll clothes,
and hi ho cherrio cherries,
and teeny tiny beads,
and hungry hippo marbles,

all of which mr. m. and i had dug out of her mouth,
from day to day...
{and lost sleep wondering if she had swallowed any}.


and so the pacifier-
is our solution!

being the youngest of three...
has perks.


not only do you get to START using a pacifier at 16 months,


but, you get all the cheek raspberries when daddy is home at lunchtime.




and when you're crabby after nap time,
and not even a sippy cup and mama cuddles can cheer you up....




well, there's a personal band at your service.
they take requests...mainly yours...
"twinkle twinkle"
"jesus loves you"




and you don't even have to play...
you can just stand in the middle,
and look cute.




it's good to be the baby!
