at our house last week,
we worked REALLY hard to create valentines day favors -
with our "elderly friends".




we've been visiting a cozy nearby nursing home
{with our sweet bible study friends},
and our children have loved taking "presents" along the residents.




ggirl filled the bags with an organized RANDOM assortment of cookies,
and marshmallows.


"this elderly friend gets 1 heart cookie, 2 princess cookies and 5 marshmallows"....
"this elderly friend gets 3 heart cookies, 5 princess cookies and 1 marshmallows"....
"this elderly friend gets 7 heart cookies, 1 princess cookies and 10 marshmallows."...

and in our dailys.......


we've been reading books,
from our thrifted and upcycled book shelf.




and we've been stealing markers from older sister ggirl,
who promptly demands their full and immediate return.


upon which rbaby generously begrudgingly
gives them back with her pudgy toddler fingers.

and we're coloring pictures
at this mama's childhood desk...
with a lone piggy tale,
and leaving a marker trail along every sleeve.
