rbaby's pink ruffle cake & 1st birthday

for rbaby's birthday,
i made her a pink ruffle cake.

i'd been dying to try this cake.
so i watched her super helpful tutorial,
and thought "i can do that...i think"....

so..............................
for not practicing first,
and having icing that was a little-too-runny.

i was content with the results.
it was pink, soft feeling,
and oh-so-sweet-baby-girl!



the pendent banner was a quick add on,
and made it a bit more birthday'ish.

i think she loved it.



she seemed to really like the frosting,
and licked her fingers very daintily.




those beautiful, dark, brown eyes
just kept watching everyone-
watching her.



she is our "cleanest"
1st birthday baby- no frosting on that birthday outfit!



off to more present opening,
this time with four other bigger little hands
to help.
