we have a five year old in our house, today.
five years.
five spectacular years full of everything boy.



this darling boy is known for his smiles,
his encouraging words,
and his silliness.



he is known for his helping heart,
& generously sharing his toys with his sister.



he is known for pretending his body
is an xwings fighter jet {star wars reference},
and "flying" it everywhere he goes- with sound effects-
especially in public places.



he is known for burping jokes,
all sorts of......humm...let's call it "creative" boy bathroom humor.



he's know for asking really good questions:
"mama, how do cockroaches see without big eyes on their heads?"
"how do mosquito's bite you with their straw like mouth?"
"how do we know God is with us- when we cannot see Him,
hear Him or feel Him?"
"how do i make my mouth stop talking? sometimes it just starts saying things when i'm suppose to be having quiet time?"



he is known to occasionally ambush his daddy in wrestling wars,
and tell his mama he loves her- out of the clear blue.



he is known for his passion for legos
and his love for a good dig in the mud.



he is known well.
and today he is celebrated!
