mr.m's birthday

it's mr.m's birthday!
nboy specifically asked his gift be addressed to:
fireman daddy.

of course.
presents are not your own when you're a parent.
thus, nboy has already claimed mr.m's birthday hat.
it's his new "hiding mask."

mr. m. requested boston cream pie.
it was really fun to make!
I like a kitchen challenge every now and then.
it was a three step cake.
so....this cake qualified as a challenge!{at least for me}.

rbaby is taking a quick nap from the cake challenge!

of course ggirl "helped" a lot.

so did nboy.
he was particularly helpful with the frosting.

we sang happy birthday.
then they blew out mr.m's candles for him.
before he gave the signal to blow them out together.
so he re-lit them.
so he could also blow them out.

they waited this time.
and they all blew them out together!
