-driving with Nana D. to visit our beautiful Aunties and sweet cousins down south at the Ranch, visiting the local aquarium where GGirl "tasted starfish" (much to my horror she put her hand in the touching tank and touched the starfish with her hand and then promptly popped her fingers right into her mouth...YUCKY!!!....and she did it AGAIN in another touching tank.....TODDLERS why do they do those things!!!!), we played & fought, shared & didn't share, hugged & then pushed, and everything wonderful that goes along with having cousins right at your age (ps. Auntie S. we desperately miss the amazing bean table).
We have been crazy busy at our house:
-wearing sunglasses on our noses, and running back and forth to the mirror to scrunch our noses and admire our reflection; and asking mommy to "head" the glasses (put them on her head).
We have been crazy busy at our house:
-playing soccer with Uncle M.!, running on the indoor soccer field to chase bubbles, kicking the balls (and one another when they would miss the ball), learning new terms like "bobcat ball,"and we loved having Cousin B. along to play too. **Go Coach Micah!**
We have been crazy busy at our house:
-playing mad games of hide and seek nightly with daddy, holding our chubby fingers over our faces and peeking through our fingers as we count to 10, running through the rooms looking for daddy and asking basic game questions like "mommy, where is he hiding?", to which I respond "I don't know, that's why it's called "hide and seek" we have to look for him"....by the way- GGirl spends most of the "seeking time" waiting beside me, holding my leg or sitting under my chair until the excited yell's of daddy being discovered have subsided, then she runs in and joins in the tickle war that is sure to ensue.
There are lots of busy days in our lives right now, that I cannot wait to end! But, I know the above busy moments are the crazy busy days, I'll dearly miss in years to come.
