This year Buzz Lightyear and Little Bo Peep made their debut. We had an evening of lovely weather and the sweet company of our cousins (Bumblebee B. & Teddy Bear P.) and extended family.
It was a bit of an anti-photo night for N. He's in that stage again...where no amount of bribery can coerce him to pose for a photo....sigh...! All my photo memories of him are going to be a blur...literally.
Nboy loved collecting as much candy as possible, while G. was happy to hold one piece tightly in her hand (which was quite melted by the end of our stroll). Much to the adults amusement, Cousin B. spent several happy moments swiping candy from her cousins baskets while they were distracted at the doorway of several houses (not surprising...knowing her mommy).
I think N was very happy with his "mommy & Auntie R.-made" Buzz Lightyear wings. But their cool-ness appeal definitely grew once Mr. M. added glow sticks to the ends.
Since that evening N & G have not requested any of their candy (they must have forgotten about it)........but Mr. M. and I haven't been complaining......no, instead we've been shamelessly, and deliciously, munching away after bedtime every night.
Don't worry we saved the raisins and pretzels for them- just in case they remember and request a piece.
