yet another season of thanksgiving has come and gone-
in our household.
this year, mr.m. & i, and our little family of five-
felt especially grateful for healthy happy kids...in light of our recent hospital adventures.
we celebrated in our city this year, in a house filled with noisy thanksgiving........
with these two "babies" of the family {until at least our baby four arrives}!
and sweet cousins- all the way from washington....and dear auntie's all the way from wichita.
there was time made for thanks day reflection,
and quizzes on the pilgrims & indians- and their first thansgiving.
there was a theatrical show of figurines to illustrate the most dramatic moments-
of thanksgiving eternity....mainly Christ & His sacrifice for us on the cross.
there was time for the sweetest & daintiest of thanksgiving prayers....
and for swinging in the sunshine............
and feeding ducks from the patio.
and time to talk big ten....james bond....and bbq.
and for seeing how many cousins you can fit on a tractor....
and time made for "firsts"......like dropping pies on the floor...
and for all of this....
and for all of that......
and for all of them there....
and for them farther and farthest away....
our hearts overflow with gratitude.
o' give thanks unto the Lord for He is good.
His love endures forever.
psalm 107:1
