the dailys: ipads, candy corn & lego's

this week at our house,
we're drawing city scenes on our chalkboard.



did you know if you stick your tongue out,
it helps you draw straighter lines?

nboy insists that's the case.
true story.



i'm enjoying some 21st century mommy moments:
ipad + coffee + comfy chair +
video monitor {for napping 1 year old}
+ sitting outside on driveway {watching children play}
=
one slightly sluggish time efficient mama.



we're chowing down handfull's of
mr.m's favorite fall mix-
lightly salted peanuts & candy corn.



we're flying around in our lego xwings,
and this mama is becoming quite the professional lego mechanic-
as i try to fix all those tiny parts falling off all the time!

which leads to desperate begging:
mr.m. can't we please just dip it in super glue!??
please, please, pretty please!!!



he keeps telling me "no".

we'll see.
i might just snap one day.
and do it- in a crazy mama moment.

....just dip the whole pile of lego creations
into a vat of super glue!



the thought of no teeny tiny legos,
falling every which way,
driving my 5 year old to tears,
and eventually humbling my fine motor skills,
makes me giddy.
