This little firefighter had a birthday this weekend! His selected theme was: Fire station Birthday party, complete with a trip to the local fire station, water play and a picnic in our backyard. This preggo mama was super, super thankful for a cooler mid-west, mid-morning, day for his party.
We had a great time together planning his little celebration, and he helped with it all: the decor, the baking, and choosing the water activities! We were SO THANKFUL, so many of our dear family members could travel in for the Birthday Boy's day! {THANKS Grandad & Nana, Uncle J. & Auntie S. (Cousin B. & P.), and Papa & NeNe for making the trip- we love you!}
This Fire station did a great job with providing a tour for preschoolers. NBoy loved seeing where the firemen live and of course, the engines and lights were a huge hit {although there was much general preschooler concern among the kiddos that the loud alarms were going to go off during our visit!}!
The water party great fun as well, and the big slide was the most popular attraction..... {thanks Grandad for blowing up the massive-thing-that-it-is in our hot weather, and rigging it together}!
And, no birthday party is complete without the Birthday Boy's favorite "food"....which this year was apparently Cheetos. Seriously. I think that's all he ate for lunch. Needless to say, we'll just keep that food item for one day a year- birthdays!Happy Birthday Sweet Boy! We love celebrating you!

Great fun! Wonderful job, parents!
