Strawberry Made-From-Scratch Cake

This Strawberry Made-From-Scratch Cake
was easy to make and delish' to eat!

Here's the recipe.

I made the strawberry puree they suggested
and mixed it with a basic
Buttercream icing (also suggested), as a filler.
I also used the Buttercream to ice the rest
of the cake.

The polka dots are colored compound coating chocolate.

Yes, I bought those pre-made at a
specialty cake store,
(they were actually very inexpensive and
did the job perfectly round!)
