joined us on the boat....
all 7 lb's of his tiny baby body!
This was one of N. boy's favorite parts of each day.
with Grandad and Mr. M.
It really was truly a special time to have all
four of my siblings,
spouses, and cousins together.
We're all spread out across
the country these days-
so these times are getting a little
rare for my taste.
This year was blissfully uneventful,
as compared to last year:
we lost a ski, flipped the wave runner,
and the boat had a little run-in
with a dock.
We enjoyed lake water at bath water temperatures,
and many relaxing evenings at the lodge.
(Me, watching a years worth of Food Network,
since we don't have cable.
I'm a new addict to the cake making shows- they're amazing!)
We also enjoyed a few family traditions: A traditional
C. Clan "meat" meal
(meaning: Grandad cooks up an army's worth of steaks & ribs
and we all eat our hearts out).
And a night of Settlers.
(for those of you who haven't heard of this
legendary board game,
wow......!- you must learn!)
More to come...........

Hey Hannah! Glad we found each other again in the blog world - thanks for saying hi!
