apple shooting time

it was time.
nboy had been talking about this all year long.



last year, at our annual patch visit,
he was" too scared" to shoot the apple sling,
and fire off the sling shots.

this year, well- here are his own words {back in march}:
"is it time to go to the patch yet, mom?
i'm ready for the cannon.
i'm older now, mom.
i'm ready to fire off the apples.
i won't be scared.
ggirl might be, but that's okay, she's younger than me.
i was scared too...when i was young like her."

so, with a little aiming help from his tongue......
